Fleur ("we", "our", or "us") is an app published by Pixelane Pty Ltd (ABN 75 698 573 376), Sydney, Australia. This Privacy Policy explains what information the Fleur app ("the App") collects, why, and who it is shared with. It applies to Fleur on both Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Fleur does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information such as your name, email address or phone number.
The following information is collected when you use the App:
Fleur contains no analytics SDK. We do not track your behaviour across other apps or websites.
The "Arrange my flowers" feature lets you take or select up to three photographs of your own flowers. This is the most sensitive information the App handles, so we want to be clear about what happens to it.
The same applies to the text descriptions you type. We do not retain them.
Fleur relies on the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:
Some of these providers are located outside Australia, which means your information may be processed overseas.
Your daily generation count and subscription status are stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard app storage. We do not operate a database of user data.
Generated images are saved to your device's photo library only when you tap "Save", and shared only when you tap "Share". We do not keep copies.
Free users of Fleur see advertising served by Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier. Subscribers to Fleur Premium see no advertising at all, and the advertising SDK is not started for them.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Fleur asks for your consent before serving personalised advertising, using Google's consent management platform. You can change or withdraw that choice at any time using the Privacy options link on the Fleur Premium screen inside the App.
On Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device Settings, under Google, then Ads.
Apple requires apps to ask your permission before using your device's advertising identifier to track you across other companies' apps and websites. When you first use Fleur on an iPhone or iPad, you will see a short explanation followed by Apple's own permission prompt.
You can change your answer at any time in your device Settings, under Privacy & Security, then Tracking. Apple only shows its prompt once per installation, so Settings is where you go to change your mind later.
This permission is separate from the advertising consent described above. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you may see both.
Fleur is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under the equivalent minimum age in your country. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will address it.
Because Fleur does not require an account and we do not maintain a database of user data, we generally hold no personal information about you to access, correct or delete. Removing the App from your device removes the information stored locally.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw consent at any time and to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Where we rely on a legal basis for processing, that basis is your consent for personalised advertising, and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the App for everything else.
If you are in Australia, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address below. Requests directed at data held by our third-party providers may need to be made to them, and we will help where we can.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected in the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
